Michelle C. Laubin to Present at Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE) National Academy of Law and Leadership 2025

Attorney Michelle C. Laubin and a team of colleagues from the Connecticut Council of Administrators of Special Education (ConnCASE) will present, “Defusing the Battleground: A Practical Approach to Change the Restraint and Seclusion Public Narrative”  at this national conference.

The conference will be held April 22-25, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri.  Teams of school district legal counsel and local district administrators/leaders will present together on legal guidance and district strategies for navigating challenging issues related to IDEA/504 requirements, court rulings, due process hearing outcomes, state-level complaints, and more. 

CASE, The Council of Administrators of Special Education, the largest division of the Council for Exceptional Children, is an international nonprofit professional organization providing leadership, advocacy, and professional development to more than 5,000 administrators responsible for the implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. CASE was organized in 1951 in New York, NY.
